Farrington Highway

The biggest muddle on the coast at present is the blot of Farrington Highway caused by the Present Rail Party. Our reps are powerless against them. They got all money and they want more. The Fat Cats in Honolulu call it "Easy Money." And prices are going up all over the place. Oahu is now the highest priced island in the Pacific and people are moving to the Neighbor Islands.

"It is strange, but true, but then truth is always strange:
Much stranger than fiction."

Kapolei is still having a tough time getting to be Second City with the Present Rail Party stopping all construction of Business Parks in the West. Thousands of cars would have been missing from the freeways to and from Honolulu. Thousands of cars missing from downtown traffic congestions. And I coulda been home in 20 minutes. And what about the Minimum Wage? Worth ten times more in Waianae, than in Honolulu, with 14 hour workdays. Auwe!

Look what they did to Lualualei. They had the money to spend thousands to stop the Business Park that would have helped so many in the area. The Rail Catastrophe is less than 10% built and the cost over runs are already a billion dollars. Easy Money. Souki now the leading man for them. Millions and millions of dollars in pure profits from the "Gravy Train."

Fortunately we are getting better schools and some Shopping Center construction but they are having a hell of time with the "Keep the country, country" people. Those people intend to keep you down and rely on Honolulu for everything. Waianae Coast is overdue for Third City. And we gotta find more ways to keep away from Da Rail Mess.

It's Morning In Waianae

The citizens of this community are waking up pretty nicely. They are recognizing the Fat Cats and the Present Rail Party in Honolulu and what they stand for. It's the bread, Fred. Some of the Fat Cats still talk of "Keep the country, country." Ha! The thing is now we know it means, "less money for schools, no sidewalks, no shoe stores and no places to find work. You gotta go downtown." And they are making millions and millions of dollars. Easy Money.

"Truth is like the Sun. You can shut it out for a time,
but it ain't goin' away."

There are several classifications for people contributing this very important information to distribute to our reader/dancers. This information is crucial for our type of social blogging, and with more contributors, we can hope to eventually make it into Real Social Media. Facebook? They have 50 million members, and you think we are important to them? Ha! Our blogs are where we are important to our friends, neighbors, relatives and fellow dancers. That certainly gives the entire Hawaii Blogosphere a very solid base from which to speak from.

Someday, we can hope to have something almost as good in the Waianae Coast. And the Waianae District Park has got to have the best dance floor on the coast. All this in spite of the fact that some are already moving out because of the Rail Holocaust. They would like to stay if they could work nearby and avoid 14 hour workdays. But we know the Present Rail Party. It's the money, Sonny.

Waianae Coast looking good

People on the Waianae Coast are known for helping each other. Lately we have been getting groups from Makaha into Nanakuli to help the homeless. They don't seem to have enough publicity. For the longest time I have not given anything to a beggar in the streets who asked me. Specially when I lived in town and found out how much money they can make in an hour of begging in downtown Honolulu. It is much different on the Waianae Coast. People don't make a living asking for money, but it does help

"Don't sweat the small stuff, and remember, most of the stuff is small."

In Waianae, if a person is desperate enough to ask me, "Can you help me?" how can I ever say no? That person is asking me for help." Plus, hopefully for a few moments they'll feel a little less alone. Hopefully they'll feel like a few people really do care about them. I don't have money to donate to big organization. But I give directly, I give to a person who asks. I give a dollar here, or a dollar there.

And because of the money needed for the Rail Catastrophe, Farrington Highway cannot be fixed. What used to take a half day to make deliveries take a whole day now and everyone knows it is going to get worse. The price of eggs, bread and milk are all going up. Gotta pay for the Rail Mess. When they remove all the buses to replace with feeder buses, forcing many people to use the "Rapid Transit," it will get worse unless we take the boat.

That Business Park in Makaha still looks good in spite of the Present Rail Party. Hundreds of cars missing to and from Honolulu, and hundreds of cars missing downtown traffic. And "I coulda been home in 20 minutes." Minimum Wage? Worth ten times more in Makaha than making it in Honolulu.

Nanakuli Commercial Center

This $20 million Nanakuli Commercial Center is a collaboration between Nanakuli Hawaiian Homestead Community Association, HCDB, and broker Sofos Realty Corporation. This in spite of the continued interference by the Present Rail Party.

"You can bull shit some of the people all the time, and you can bull
shit all of the people some of the time, but you cannot bull shit
all the people  all the time." Who said that?

The planning and construction of this large multi-building retail/health services commercial project is complete. Fronting Farrington Highway, this new "one story" shopping center will have a Hawaiian cultural plantation theme motif. (They are not yet aware that this is the 21st century on the Waianae Coast too.)

Anchor tenant is Longs Drug Store. It's stand alone store will have a drive-thru window. Smaller tenants may include an Goodwill training and clothing outlet, L&L Restaurant, SuperCuts, Mobi PCS, pizza parlor, Hawaiian food restaurant, sushi restaurant, surf shop, clothing store, yogurt outlet, coffee store, or nail salon.

The community owned and run Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center will be building a 16,000 sq. ft. "two story," (these people are hep) stand alone facility that may house a pediatric dental clinic, an adult medical clinic, and low-cost pharmacy. With the many health and dental problems plaguing our Hawaiian families in Nanakuli and Waianae coast, the need for such a centrally located and readily accessible health center is quite apparent.

Liberty Dialysis Hawaii LLC is an affiliated company of Fresenius Medical Care, the nation's largest network of over 2,150 dialysis centers dedicated to improving the life of every patient suffering from kidney disease. This type of health problem affects many people in our Hawaiian communities. Liberty will provide patient-centered care based on the latest technology with innovative and efficient programs.

The high class is griping about the many minimum wage jobs. They just don't realize that minimum wage in Nanakuli is worth ten times what it is worth in Honolulu. And I coulda got home in 20 minutes. What does a fourteen hour work day mean to the rich. And it is going to get worse when the Rail Disaster is in. Auwe!

Wednesday, July 8, 2015

No talk at all on dancing on the Waianae Coast. Transportation  that is getting worse is the talk of the town. And they all know that nothing can be done. All the available money goes for the Rail Disaster. Auwe.

"Success is no accident. It is hard work, persistence,  learning,
sacrifice and most of all the love of what you are doing."

Otherwise, these people are very resilient and still trying to get some Business Park built in the West so we can be home in 20 minutes instead of fourteen hour work days. Everyone on the coast now understands, "Rapid Transit" is not.

Kapolei seems to be working on getting second city going but having a tough time with the Present Rail Party veto on anything like a Business  Park. There is so much good land just North of the freeway between Waipahu and Honokai Hale. Thousands of cars would be missing from the freeways to and from Honolulu. Thousands of cars missing from the horrible downtown traffic.

The Rail Calamity cannot be stopped. Millions of dollars in profits are already being made. Too much money and contracts that must be done. But we can tear it down later the way San Francisco was forced to do too. Meanwhile, read up on the Night Club doings in town in the Dancing Nights blog. Richie Fun doing a terrific job there and the hits will be going through the roof.

Thr Learning Process

Hawaii Free Press is coming up with some tremendous truths. The Waianae Coast may not be doomed but they are in bad way. Farrington Highway will not be fixed. They need the money fo the Rail Fiasco. Prices going up because it takes twice as long to deliver goods to the Waianae Coast and everyone know it is going get worse.

“It is the absence of facts that frightens people: it is the gap that you open, into which they pour their fears, fantasies, desires.”

Price of 18 count eggs have now gone up over $7.00. Milk will not be far behind.and the rest will follow. Housing is going down, people want less of this rat trap. Kapolei has a good chance for Second City if they have more Business Parks. But the Present Rail Party stops all that and our representatives are helpless.

The beautiful Waipio Business Park. The Present Rail Party couldn't
stop it. Hundreds of cars missing to and from Honolulu.
And "I coulda been home in 20 minutes."

They have Salsa dancing on the North Shore but nothing at all on the Waianae Coast and we cannot blame them. The Rail Crisis is up on us and it will be worse when they get it finished. Our only hope is Kapolei. Perhaps their reps can get some Business Parks in the area..
