Still holding its own in double digit average per day hits. Meanwhile Kokohead Dancing remains at the bottom of the pile. A steady Two Center would make a difference for any blog we have now. Any person willing to share their dance information with their fellow reader/dancers.

"A good example has twice the value of good advice."

Chicharrones is steady and as of now looks like it might stay. Latin music and dance is now predominate over the entire world, so that it has a good chance. Of course on Oahu it is different between the "experienced" and the young.  And though slowing down, many are still into the "black rap."

The best one for getting on the road to glory will be Dancing Nights. It already has a very good Guest Author and one more on the Horizon. That would put it in the running for the first independent blog. If they can beat Town Dancer they are free, I can resign from the blog and they can make their own rules.

Meanwhile we can keep this one going as much as we can.

First Notice for all blogs, I will be disabled for a few days and cannot do much. After a week or so I will get back in but every thing will slow down. From there one of the blogs will be deleted in June. It will be one of these three, Kokohead Dancing, Sea Country or Chicharrones. All three are in solid double digits average per day but they also have too many scam, spam, robot hits.

We should be enough of an artist to draw freely upon our imaginations. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”

"Sweet Someone" by Don Ho

If you wish to see a blog in progress, tune into Dancing Nights blog and you can see what a fine job Richie is doing. The hits are going through the roof. And he has good Two Centers.

Most of the dancing will be in the West to spite the High Priced Choo Choo train. Most know how the Present Rail Party operates. Look what they just did to the Freeway going to the West. Auwe!

Needs for Blogging

This blog is really doing well considering that we are not that well unified on the Waianae Coast. And fortunately we have a few organizations striving to get it more people on the bandwagon. A few are also thinking of "third city" right behind Kapolei. We can let Honolulu screw up everything else over there. And most of us are well aware that with the Present Rail Party, it's the dough, Moe. And they will lie, and lie and keep on lying. Look what they did to Ben Cayetano.

"Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't - You're Right."

The Capital of Entertainment in the West is Wahiawa, but Kapolei is
looking good, and then the Waianae Coast. First we need a good
Business Park where so many of us can live, work
and play in our own kuleana.

The commentary, is at the end of every blog. Just pick the blog you want and write what you want and your name, actual or a pen name. Anonymous does not quite meet the interest of your fellow dancers. It will appear in the comment section of the blog you picked.

Later on you may want to contribute some more pertinent information (which probably no one else will have) to whatever blog you wish by emailing to the Guest Author involved. or to me.  You will then become an Information Contributor, a very important function.  No dues, no meetings, no commitments. You just share your information with our friend, neighbors, relatives and fellow dancers whenever you wish.

Dancing On Oahu

This island doing pretty good all over. Taking it slow but that is all right too. Little news from Sea Country, everybody goes to town for that. They should do as they please.

"People may not be as beautiful as they look or as they talk.
They are only as beautiful as the care and they share."

Meanwhile the rest of the island is jumping. We just got some news from Aunty Maili, (Wahaiwa Ballroom Dance Club) and it is all good news. The beautiful poster for those wanting to drive. This is your great opportunity.

Now that is getting the information to the dancers. These
"Two Centers" are developing into the most important
people in Dance Blogging on this island.

"Paniolo Country" by Melveen Leed

Also just received from Aunty Maili:
A nice way to spend a Friday evening from Deanie Bates, President of Aiea Ballroom Dance Association.

Aiea Ballroom Announcement.
Hope you guys can be with us this Friday, 4/10, at the Palladium for our dance. Time is 6-9:30 pm; color theme is PINK w/ any other color you want. Refreshments at half time. Full ballroom. Bert will dj. Deanie

Pub's Side Note: On the Internet, and people do say what they think.
"The property taxes and sales taxes will go sky high, now that the people got fooled into this dumb choo choo train that goes nowhere. Do like any intelligent human being would do, who doesn't want to go broke and end up homeless. Sell your house and move."

Dance, Anyone?

Most of us should be aware that Town Dancer blog remains the leader in our Hawaii blogosphere. And the biggest reason is that they have two Guest Authors and several regular Two Centers, willing to contribute by email information and photo for publication.

"Reading is the most important skill you will ever learn."

How about this Makaha Beach Bar and Lounge,
with a little larger dance floor? Wow!

For All The Men Out There
Just do it! Too many would-be dancers have convinced themselves, or let others tell them, that they "just can’t dance", so they never even attempt to learn. If you can walk, you can learn to dance. Social dancing is composed of steps, forward, back, to the side, and in place. Just forget about competitions, most people are in it for fun not for competitions. Competition people are different people and they will whole heartily agree with this.

It’s the combining of these steps in different ways that creates the pattern of a dance. The steps are learned one at a time, just like when you were two and learning to walk! Don’t let anyone discourage you, you CAN learn to dance! And you could try Line dancing first, you don't need a partner and you can have a ball just moving to the music, like the rest of them.

"May Each Day" by Andy Williams

Just met another guy that lives in the projects in Nanakuli and works in Nanakuli. Just a little better than minimum wage but for him, it is worth ten times, what it is working in Honolulu. He can walk home in 20 minutes and spend a little time with the family. But the Present Rail Party located in Downtown Honolulu does not like that kind of nonsense. You will work and buy everything in Honolulu including your entertainment. Why do you think they spent millions lying about Ben Cayetano? Keep the country, country. No shoestores and no sidewalks. And you can forget about education too.

"Tiny Bubbles" by Don Ho

Pub's Side Note: Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes, the ones who see things differently. They are not fond of rules and they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you cannot do is ignore them, because they change things.
