Amazing Blog

Social Media is not well known by most, much less by the Waianae Coast, naturally. Social media for us should be the social interaction among our people in which we create, share or exchange information, ideas, and pictures/videos in our computer community.

"There will be many chapters in your life, just don't get lost
in the one you are in now."

Social Media has been defined as "a group of Internet-based applications that build on the ideological and technological foundations of, and that allow the creation and exchange of user-generated content"  - and that doesn't tell us much. They do introduce substantial and pervasive changes to communication between organizations, communities, and individuals. These changes are the focus of the emerging field of dance on the Island of Oahu.

Social media is different from traditional or industrial media in many ways, including, quality, frequency, usability, immediacy, and permanence. There are many effects that stem from the internet and internet users as they increasingly continue to spend more time with social media sites than any other type of site.

For information contributors (da Two Centers,) the benefits of participating in social media have gone beyond simply social sharing to fellow dancers and building good reputation. The concept was for users to create their own blogs within the overall blog, da Guest Authors.

Today, there are many other social media sites that are extremely popular and world wide if you are interested. These sites include: Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. These sites also allow people in a wide range to stay in contact, whether it is through pictures or writing.

Print Media is still good. I get Western Stories every month and  I get Tamura Specials twice per month. Can you imagine Western Stories twice per month and Tamura Specials in the centerfold. A mini Midweek. And the Waianae Coast would get closer to being third city. And I am willing to help in the Public Relations Department.
