Dance Awareness

Meanwhile, all over this island people are becoming aware of dance. Not just our kind of recreational dance but all kinds, Hawaiian (naturally), Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, and all the other ethnic dances. Dancing is dance and no group or groups in the world have a monopoly or patent on it.

"Every time we turn our heads the other way when we see the law flouted, when we tolerate what we know to be wrong, when we close our eyes and ears to the corrupt because we  are too busy or too frightened, when we fail to speak up and speak out, we strike a blow against freedom and decency and justice."

From there the agreement begins to lessen. There will be a place to dance in the Waianae Coast, the North Shore and somewhere for the Eastern part of this Island. Going to Honolulu will only be as a last resort or just to experience a change of venue. That is what the establishment has been afraid of for years. Whatever the change, it will not be fast and we just have to accept the Rail Catastrophe is going to be one big humbug. And Million and Millions of dollars in profits are going to be made by somebody.

"The Tennessee Waltz" by Theresa Brewer

Second City in Kapolei, was just a figment in someone's imagination and will not come about soon because of the Present Rail Party. The idea that the residents of this island would like to live, work and play where they live will not be permitted by those that have other agendas. Remember "Keep the Country, Country?" Same people, it's always the money, Sonny. The awareness that is coming up will help the residents do something about this strangle hold on living in Paradise.

The Neighborhood boards of Makakilo, Kapolei and Honokai Hale are leading the way in the West. Listen to them, they have very good reasons why the Rail Catastrophe is so bad for the community, while making millions for the few mainlanders that have arrived just for the purpose. Honolulu Traffic is also the lead on this island's Rail Mess in spite of some of the supposed independents being bought by City Money and Propaganda. The usual lies that the Present Rail Party is so well known for.

Pub's Side Note: In Hawaii, dance blogs are enabling hundreds of dancers to express their opinions with reduced political risk simply because of the sheer number of like-minded opinions online. Facing these independent voices, the old clique machine starts to crumble.
