Waianae Coast

No dancing allowed on the Waianae Coast. Actually I don't know. There seems to be small bits of dancing the old ballroom kind, but it has only been for a few times and not enough people interested so there it is. The military have always had some but it also has been sporatic.

"We, on the Waianae Coast are going to succeed,
simply because we are crazy enough to think we can."

At the Makaha Resort, it also has been sporatic but they even have had Salsa, Merengue and all that at different times. And I came all the way from Honolulu for a Puerto Rican party and dance in Waianae, 20 years ago. I have met people from Barber's Point, and Kapolei that go to town to Salsa at least a couple times a month.

So the best thing we have going thus far is the Kapolei Chapter HBDA at Kapolei Elementary school for classes and a quarterly social which is attended from people all the way to Honolulu. Then we are fortunate to have the best dance floor in West Oahu at the Waianae District Park. I don't know if it has ever been used to dance on.

At any rate it is all there about to take place next year some time. I have no idea who is going to do it but I hope they find out that I am willing to help.

Meanwhile, we can all look into the Industrial Park that was voted down by the Rail People and you know why.

Way back in anyone of several valleys. Over 1000 employees. That means 1000 less cars
going down Farrington to the freeway,  1000 less cars in downtown traffic and 1000 less
cars coming back. You need the rail? What fo? And I coulda been home in 20 minutes.

There are billions and billions of dollars in profits in the Rail. That is why we are importing so many mainlanders. They know about these Pacific Island yokels. Easy Money.
