Christmas Party

Friday, September 21st, a very nice party planned for Nanaikeola Senior Apartments by Annette and  Pat for the lucky tenants.  And I got there about six and the place was already jumping. A nice and happy crowd. Some guys outside talking story.

"If you think positively, Sound becomes music.
Movement becomes dance and Smile becomes laughter.
Mind becomes meditation and Life becomes a celebration."

Testing my new camera and took a few shots right from the beginning. Sat down and enjoyed the happenings. The City of Joy people were there with their much appreciated donation of time to entertain our fellow friends, neighbors and residents of this community. We are continually in process of knowing each other better.

Made my first mistake. Had it on "Movie" but I was able to Print Screen, though tricky.

Was able to communicate to some of the picture takers of perhaps contributing a few of their favorites for publication in the Nanakuli Ridge blog. This has been very hard to do, some simply do not wish to share. But perhaps a few will be leading the way to make everyone connected with the blog happier.

Edmund Sears. 1849, "It came upon a Midnight Clear" is a favorite during the
holiday season just because of the reason for the song. Everyone wants peace on
earth and good will towards men during Christmas. The song addresses all of
that and has a nice, soothing melody to accompany it.

I got a few presents from the City of Joy and from the Party and took them up to my place. Then came back downstairs and got a nice plate of the leftovers. Simply delicious. I will go the Church next door and make connection (one of the ladies promised a short write up) on Sunday and for sure there will be another blog. Nanakuli Ridge is rolling.

Pub's Side Note: Just got into Google + and it is a little complicated (too much available for me) but the simple stuff seems right up my social alley. It has just about everything as social media to supplement our blogs. Guy Kawasaki has just written a terrific book "What the Plus!" Paperback on sale at Amazon for only $8.
