The Thanksgiving Dinner

At Nanaikeola Senior Apartments and served by the City of Joy volunteers, our next door neighbors. It was to start at eleven, so I went down there for my intial visit at 11:15 AM. Already a very nice group, the kids dancing and playing some enjoyable music. It was starting out to be nice party.

"Through the generosity of Ko'olina, City of Joy, HBA Pastor Rob,
Kailua Community Church Pastor, Jenson and their youth, danced, sang and
served Thanksgiving meals to our Kapuna. God is so  good." Terri.

It looked like it was going to be an all day affair.
But these are old people, so it can be tiring.

Terri gave me a large bento, which I took upstairs to eat later. My teeth still not working properly. Got the first pictures into the computer and then came back downstairs and see if the six cases of champagne had arrived yet.

Some of the volunteers, bless their hearts.

Then I had the wrong cards, went back up stairs and got the Nanakuli Ridge cards.  Came back and looked around and some people seemed to be leaving. Some were good socializers.

Kurt Bunton, Brandon Holmes, David Morimoto (lead) and Anthony Holmes.
Super music, so all they need is a good agent. Maybe only ten thousand a week
to start but it could lead to some good money.

It seemed to be over, only the good socializers were left and I should have come back down and get another photo. They deserve it.

A fine bunch of fellow tenants, and Annette was there with us,
yes, I should have gotten another photo of this group.

Happy Thanksgiving

Count on God instead of yourself.
